a friend in need is a friend indeed

Due to my entire cell going away to KL for some fun (meaning that my sis & Randee are going too), I was transported to my "in-laws" place to stay (royal degree from the boyfriend) for a few practical reasons...

While I hobbled ard in my one good foot last week, I was really thankful for great friends... I had many kind smses from many people and volunteers bringing food for me! Am I blessed or wad?!

First, my sis popped by with food on some nights... She bought me alot of delicious Korean food and my fav:

BUBBLE TEA...
(Forgot to take photos! Ugh)

And then, Jamie Barbarella Ang dropped by on Fri for our lonely Fri Nite Club.... She brought Subway....

And also my fav... BUBBLE TEA.... (is it such public knowledge that I drink bubble tea everyday?!)

followed by desserts... How can we miss that out?! We'll be incomplete! Chocolate glazed cranberry cake

Randee's mom n pop were really kind to buy food for me and cooked in advance so that all I need is to pop the food into the microwave.... They're really sweet! I always boast abt my nice in-laws! They're easy going and kind... :D

My "brother-in-law" drove over to deliver some spare ribs that his wife prepared for me to reheat and have it with some rice. That was really sweet of them...!!!

Okay now, how a tupperware of spare ribs multiplied into a spread like that is something that's very KARA to do.....

1. Spiced Spare ribs (top left)
-given by Jill

2. Garlicky prawns
- deveined prawns from fridge
- chopped garlic
- chilli padi
- black pepper

3. Spinach with crab meat

- Bag of spinach given by Jill ("sis-in-law")
- crabmeat from the freezer

4. Omelette with mozarella cheese

- large eggs fr the fridge
- leftover Mozarella cheese from aunty's previous pizza-making party

(inspired by cooking programme: Everyday Food, Channel 5, weekdays, 11.30am)

Told ya I was watching ALOT of cooking shows!

TAaaaDAaaa!!!! With abit of creativity, anyone can whip a meal out of stuff from their fridge!!!!!

Randee's reaction: Since when did u sneak out to buy all these ingredients?!!!! *blabbergasted*

HAHAHAHA.......
